📚 WLVNA Launches ‘Teach Itsekiri’ with Major Educational Grant
On Friday, January 17, 2025, Warri Ladies Vanguard North America proudly launched its groundbreaking ‘Teach Itsekiri’ initiative with a symbolic and impactful gesture—a donation of ₦1,000,000 to the Itsekiri Language Department at the College of Education, Warri.
This generous contribution is dedicated to fully covering the tuition fees of 12 aspiring Itsekiri language educators, empowering them to preserve and promote our rich cultural heritage through education.
With this investment, WLVNA reaffirms its commitment to cultural preservation and educational empowerment—ensuring that the Itsekiri language continues to thrive for generations to come
Through this initiative, Warri Ladies Vanguard North America hopes to inspire and prepare these aspiring Itsekiri language educators to become future educators of the Itsekiri language in schools.
